1st Meeting

When I finally met Melissa Marjak, I thought she was 17 or 18, because her face caught my attention. I was nervous about the meeting because I thought she would laugh at my accent in English and I was afraid that I did not know how to use Skype, although in reality she laughed a couple of times when she spoke to me, but I think it was because I did not understand some questions that she asked me.

But speaking of accents, Melissa could not even tell me 3 complex sentences in Spanish, and I had to read them to be able to talk to me. She promised me that for the next meeting she would improve her Spanish so as not to be mute and so that I would not be the only one to make an effort to speak.

Melissa and I introduced ourselves, we asked ourselves general questions such as: Where are we from? Who do we live with? What are our hobbies? If we like to watch series or movies and what? When are our holidays? and more related questions.

I showed Melissa a picture of my dog, and she also showed me her, I told her that in Guatemala there are only two periods of the weather (summer, winter) and I mentioned her the top list of iTunes music for Guatemala. In music there is not much difference in Ohio because the top list of music there has some songs that are the same in the top list in Guatemala.

Melissa told me that if I ever planned to visit Ohio there are a lot of museums, there are also many parks and statues of some important US characters. I told Melissa that if she visited Guatemala she should know Antigua, Semuc Champey, Tikal, Xela and the Pacaya volcano.
